I like pretty much the contrast between the new architecture of the buildings on the back ground of the photo and the old construction 'right in front of them'. Asian countries have many places like this, but it takes a good photographer to take a good photo. Congratulations, I hope to see this place in person someday.
This gorgeous photograph has been included in the section Architecture in Today's Photography Beauties. Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us and sorry for the belated notification. If you like the rest of the feature, please fav it and spread the word to get more exposure to the artists.
On its own, this shot makes for a great moody scene, it's complex at the borders and spacious in the middle. But particularly when seen with the sweeping aerial shots of the big city, this courtyard-looking place seems really intriguing in comparison. It's not dwarfed at all by the other photos: its solid use of space is great all on its own.
This really caught my eye, and I can't quite put my finger on why, but for some reason, I'm going to go as far as to say it's one of the best shots I've seen on this site. From a technical standpoint, there's nothing particularly special about it (sorry!) apart from the reflections on the water, which, without those, would make it a totally different photo. Just the whole composition in general makes me want it. If I'd a credit card, I'd buy the print.
