I like the picture, but I'm a little curious as to why you employed gothic imagery (in terms of your shot angle, color contrast, etc.) for a cathedral that's romanesque/byzantine in style.
Did you do this deliberately and if so what were you trying to convey?

Are the birds actually part of the original photo, or a photoshop brush? They look familiar to me...either way, amazing photograph.
