I am currently working on a book about a girl who lost her true love at the sea, and since then she sits every day at the pier, staring at an old lighthouse, waiting for her loved one to return; your incredible photo is kind of of what I have in my mind while writing the story, I've been looking for a long time some artwork that really captures that emotion and I can't belive I finally foud it. Incredible work!!

Then I saw that you have done another take on this type of shot.
There is a woman at the end of the pier; I've never seen something on the pier in any other shot.
The boat in the background, gliding along - so peaceful and well captured.
The colour scheme is simple and the shot is well processed.
This is excellent, very well done - I am glad to see someone make something of this style of photo!
